The Sixth Sunday after Epiphany

February 17, 2019

WELCOME to St. John’s Lutheran Church!

We believe that it is our mission to bring the Word of God to those who do not know Jesus as their Savior, to build the faith of those who do, and to share the love of God with our community and the world.

If you have any concerns or suggestions, please speak with the Pastor or Elder on duty.

FAMILY DAY HOT CHOCOLATE GIVE-AWAY: The Board of Outreach is once again organizing a community volunteer opportunity during tomorrows festivities at the Legends Center. We need volunteers to man the booth where we give away Hot Chocolate for the families attending. See the sign-up sheet in the narthex for available timeslots. There is always room for more.

THANK YOU to everyone who helped last year with the after worship service coffee and snacks. Your help is a blessing to our congregational fellowship!

See insert for more information.

Prayer Thoughts for the Week

We remember those needing your hand of healing, especially for Anna, Steven, Rachel, Mike, Alex, Don, Albert, Dyanna, Nora, Bob and Dorothy, Alison, Michelle, Karen, Ruby, Elizabeth, Bev and Mel. Give them your strength and hope for every tomorrow.

Dear God, thank-you for showing your love to us through the love bestowed upon us by our family and friends. Please strengthen us so that we may be blessings for our loved ones, by putting other’s needs above our own and providing care and support to our loved ones in times of need and always. In Jesus Name we pray, Amen.
