THIRD SUNDAY IN ADVENT

December 17 , 2017

WELCOME to St. John’s Lutheran Church!

We believe that it is our mission to bring the Word of God to those who do not know Jesus as their Savior, to build the faith of those who do, and to share the love of God with our community and the world.

If you have any concerns or suggestions, please speak with the Pastor or Elder on duty.

Prayer Thoughts for November

We remember those needing your hand of healing, especially for Ted, Hawkley, George, Don, Betty, Gail, Dyanna, Nora, Shirley, Henry, Alta, Bob, Alison, Michelle, Karen, Ruby, Martha, Elizabeth, Bev and Mel. Give them your strength and hope for every tomorrow.

During this season of Advent anticipation we pray that the Holy Spirit would fill us with the light of Christ, that we may shine in Jesus' glory as we joyously celebrate His first coming and await His promised glorious return. O heavenly Father, prepare our hearts, for we know our Lord and Saviour Jesus, your only begotten Son, has promised to take all who trust in His Holy Name from this world of darkness to live with Him in the heavenly realms where His light of grace and glory will shine for all eternity.
